The Oak Trees
EagerFound an artist in El Sobrante near one of my lovers' house. and It'll only cost me 400 per side!
I'm going in tomorrow for an hour or so and I'm kinda nervous but excited.
My original idea for the design is going to change slightly. instead of having it go all the way down my back and wrap around my hips, it'll stop about an inch or two lower than the outline now.
And after the shading is complete in a month (maybe 2 months) I'm going into phase II: fire around the trees. Still playing with the idea of having a lightning bolt going down the back of my neck ingiting it...
I'll figure that out later. The way I envision it, I'll have my entire upper back tatted and the tops of my shoulders for sure.
I still need to find a way to incorporate water and air into my design somehow. Most likely with the lower back piece I'm going to start after I finish this vision and my blackberry vines on my calves.
So much ink, pain, time, and money. But I WILL get there. and if Tony does a great job fixing up my back, I'll definitely return for my next piece!
